Jill Maude Anne ArwelFUNNELLSadly, Jill died on 7th February 2013 at Woodside Care Home Temple Ewell, Dover after a long and, during the last few weeks, a very painful illness. John Funnell and his family are truly thankful for the ardently committed staff at Woodside and the District Nurses who visited by day and by night to ensure that Jill's last days were pain-free, enabling a peaceful death. We appreciate and thank all of those who sent loving cards of bereavement and the many who attended the Service of Cremation, some of whom had travelled a very long distance , from Jersey and Anglesey. Heather's kindness of heart in organising and providing a "funeral tea" in her home is fully recognised and appreciated. We express our gratitude to the Reverend Vanessa Ashman who, at quite short notice, conducted a sympathetic and sensitive Service at Barham. Finally, we are extremely grateful to W.J.Farrier, Funeral Directors, for the caring and compassionate way in which the funeral was organised.
